Pointy type - Illustrated

I have started looking at ways to introduce the typography I produced the other day to some of the designs that I have done so far.

This is some work that I have done with a pointy, retro-style typeface which I liked. I have then applied it to the skeleton imagery.

I decided to separate the words so that I could experiment with the positioning of them.

This was too large and retracted from the design. I do not want the focus to be on the type.

This fitted a lot better, making the typography and imagery complimentary to one another.

The final image. This would work very well on a t-shirt. But I want to be more explorative with this.
I think I may remove the white typography from the image as it removes meaning.
I am also going to play with colours in the type.

As Fred said... with collage you need to know when to stop; it can look really interesting until you go overboard.
