I chose to take the original images based on the number 3 as a starting point... and decided to take a more illustrative approach to this brief as I wanted to do something new.
I started sketching images with the number 3 in mind... then produced more images in the same style to make a series... adding hand-rendered type to add a message to the images.
Original hand-rendered images, done with ink and water...
This is the final product... the original images scanned in and traced on illustrator.
