So, after trying to work with the whale tail idea... I have discovered that I have, once again, managed to pick a very limited subject... an entire book of just different whale tails is not going to be very interesting and visually engaging.
However I did play around with type and different ideas... including manipulating the word 'fluke' which is the technical term for a whale tail... playing around with the 'u', imagery and typography.
However, I have veered off the whale idea, and gone with a lot more traditional imagery... crosses. Ornate and celtic forms.
