What is a line?

On coming back to Leeds after the spell away I, I had a week to get the rest of the needed photographs so rapidly got underway with taking photos in a more urban environment, taking pictures of benches, rubbish, marks on the wall, formation of windows/bricks... anything I could find really. There are some really interesting lines out there if you look carefully.
I now have to think about how to present my series of shots to effectively communicate what is a line...

I could put them in a book, organised into different categories such as natural/man made... urban/rural... clear lines/more complicated to make out lines... this all seems rather uninventive to me.

Another idea is to mount them on the wall... following each other to make a clear line down the corridor.
I decided I would use both black and white and colour images...to add variety to the piece.
I also decided to use different sizes, and different angles to make it line up, rather than have every line in the center of the photograph. I think the experimentation with this will be essential to finding out which of these ideas works best.
I have the hard work done... it is now putting it together which is next on my list.
